If mankind harnessed the power of fire, but didn’t pass that knowledge along to the next generation, it would be lost. If we fail to listen to or learn from those around us or those who came before us, we would be lost.

In June, 2018, Be Strong Director Denis Estimon and Executive Director Ashleigh Cromer had the pleasure of speaking to an amazing group of young people at the State 4-H Junior Leader Conference at the University of Indianapolis. “Ashleigh and Denis related to our high school audience extremely well. They interacted with our students throughout the presentation and helped them to see how the topic was relevant to their lives. Our students were motivated to take action upon their return home, to address issues they and their peers are facing on a daily basis.”
