– Releases Anthem Video for 9/11 – Promoting a “Culture of Thank You” to Young People
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Thank You First Responder Organization (TYFRO) today announced a joint awareness effort with Stand Strong USA (SSUSA), a non-profit committed to Save Lives + End Bullying, to share with young people the importance of appreciating First Responders during this time of respect and honor to those who gave their lives during the September 11th tragedy.
A music video entitled “A Day in the Life…” featuring the anthem “Thank You First Responder” is being released through social media and online at http://thankyoufirstresponder.org/#watchthemusicvideo and features singer/songwriter Matt Jackson’s Tribute Anthem instilling emotion and a true sentiment of appreciation for First Responders and their daily bravery providing safety for everyone.
“This music video will inspire you to make sure that you take time out of this week to go up to a First Responder, look them in the eye, shake their hand and say thank you for standing strong for our nation, so thank you to our friends at ThankYouFirstResponder.org for making this video, I loved it and I hope you love it too,” said Nick Vujicic, the celebrated worldwide motivational speaker.
“During this annual time of remembrance of the tragedies of September 11th, we wanted to share a message promoting a “Culture of Thank You” to young people towards First Responders as a way of teaching the importance of respect and value of public service,” said Matt Jackson.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to our brave First Responders and teaching young people to honor and appreciate their sacrifice is critical to our nation’s well-being,” said Roy Moore, Founder and President of SSUSA.
The joint awareness campaign encourages education leaders to join in the effort of sharing the importance of teaching young people to respect and honor our First Responders. Lyrics and sheet music to the anthem are available for school music teachers to share the experience of the anthem with students and the importance of participating in a “Culture of Thank You.”
Anthem Music Video Director Joe Scudiero of Pivotal Pictures stated, “This project is very emotional to me as I have five brothers who are all first responders, so using real first responders and not actors helped us stay true to the story.”
