As a part of the Be Strong family, you are a beacon of light within your community. Join us each month as we engage in social impact volunteerism, anchored in sustainable happiness skills like generosity, gratitude, human connection, mindfulness, positive outlook and purpose to positively impact those around us and ourselves!

This Month’s Social Impact Volunteerism

  1. Practice active listening in conversations with a different peer each week. When they speak, respond with your full attention, and positive, supportive words.
  2. Encourage (3) peers each week that you don’t usually talk to. It can be a simple “I see you!” or “Keep going!”
  3. Express gratitude for something specific that a peer did that helped you grow as a person in a heartfelt note.
  4. Treat yourself how you treat others, go in the mirror each day and say something nice to yourself.
  5. Share a post on social about the power of positive words. Explain how using positive language can shape your experiences and tag (3) peers to join the movement.
  6. Think about how you can communicate better with your loved ones and how you want to implement these changes moving forward. (Ex: I want to be more comfortable sharing what I feel in the moment and help others to feel safe to share, too.)
