State Representative Eric S.
“Every day, we’re faced with confronting peer pressure, academic stress, and our own self-esteem. It takes immense courage to stand up for what is right and to go against social norms.”
Why Eric Was Nominated:
It is with a feeling of great enthusiasm that I recommend Eric Schandor to be a Be Strong representative. I have known Eric for 2 years and have had the privilege of teaching Eric as both a middle school student and as a freshman. Eric is a highly motivated, thoughtful, and mature individual with many positive attributes that would make him an ideal candidate to launch We Dine Together at Kennett High School. Eric first approached me about We Dine Together and it was clear through the professionalism of his presentation that he was passionate about what your organization stands for. He is dedicated to creating more inclusive environments in an effort to grow communities composed of servant leaders. I have no hesitation in saying that I believe Eric can be a leader that can create a positive social atmosphere on this campus.
